For the sixth consecutive year, members of the Youngstown Press Club honored journalists killed in the past year with a World Press Freedom Day reading of the names. Emily Webster Love gave opening remarks and the names of 129 journalists killed in 2025 across the globe.
Readers were George Nelson, Paulina Montaldo, Chelsea Simeon, Chris Travers, Ralph Zerbonia, Jim Michaels, Karen Kastner, Ben Davis, JoAnn Kolarik, Dennis Mangan, Tom Williams and Nicarlyle Hanchard.
