The Stewart Media Archives is a collection of the Mahoning Valley Historical Society. The legacy of Warren P. Williamson Jr., founder of WKBN Broadcasting Corporation, comprises much of the collection, which is housed in what was originally the Arms’ carriage house, directly behind the Arms Museum.
The facility, named in memory of Williamson’s grandson, Lowry A. Stewart, contains an exhibit of broadcasting equipment, historic photographs, WKBN News film (1955-2000), audio records, business records, and viewing stations. Archival services include film repair, dubbing, research and duplication.
Connie Jones is project manager for the Stewart Media Archives Collection.
