The Youngstown Press Club hosted its May speaker series lunch with Paul Furiga, president and chief storyteller of Word Write and best-selling author.
Two decades in journalism, writing 10,000 stories and editing another 10,000, shaped his storytelling skills. After covering everything from murders to the White House, Paul entered the agency world as a vice president at Ketchum Public Relations, the world’s fifth-largest PR firm, where he advised Alcoa, Firestone, Delta Air Lines and Rutgers University, among many other well-known clients.
Paul’s curiosity about the "why" behind every organization's story and his passion to share these stories led him to found WordWrite in 2002, and more recently, led him to write Finding Your Capital S Story, Why Your Story Drives Your Brand, available on Amazon.
Paul is a frequent article contributor, podcast guest and speaker, focused on sharing the power of the Capital S Story to drive results for providers of complex products and services. In addition, he is the host of StoryLines Live, the only podcast that explores the power of the Capital S Story – the story above all others that answers why someone should buy from you, work for you, invest in you or partner with you.
The event was followed by a book signing and Paul's book Finding Your Capital S Story, Why Your Story Drives Your Brand,
