The Youngstown Press Club, Inc. was founded in 1902 and re-established in 2018. The Youngstown Press Club promotes journalism and related professions in the Mahoning Valley. It operates exclusively for educational and social purposes.

Thank You, WRTA Holiday Lights!

The Youngstown Press Club is honored to be named one of this year’s nonprofit award recipients through the WRTA Holiday Lights program. We are truly humbled to be recognized alongside so many outstanding organizations doing vital work in our community.

This acknowledgement reinforces the importance of our mission: supporting working journalists and communicators; building meaningful connections among media professionals past, present, and future; uplifting high school and college journalists; and shining a light on the challenges facing today’s media landscape.

We’re grateful for the recognition—and even more grateful for the opportunity to continue serving our community through strong, ethical, and informed journalism.
